Product Description
Non Magnetic Alfin Springs
Non Magnetic Alfin rings or piston ring groove alfin inserts: Alfin Ring is inserted in the top ring groove of the piston or in some designs the top two ring grooves are inserted with Alfin Rings.
Chrome grooving is applied to these grooves and wear in the excess of 1mm can be recovered. Wear in the lower grooves is eliminated by sophisticated aluminum welding techniques, approved by LRS, followed by anodizing using the Ox grooving method.
In this way it is usually possible for all grooves to be returned to standard size.
All machining is done by CNC machines and Special Purpose
machines(SPM).
